Hi, I am Rebecca, a UK Girl Guide from The Midlands. I have been a part of Girlguiding since I was 5, as a Rainbow and have grown up being a part of every section. I am now completing my leadership qualification with Rainbows.
My time so far in Girlguiding has helped to give me confidence and improve my skill set, through the opportunities given to me and the activities that I participate in. Pax Lodge is the first world centre I have visited and volunteered at. I hope to visit the other world centres and collect all 5 World centre pins. There are many opportunities that I have had from being in Girlguiding, being part of an international service team, to being chosen to go on international trips.
As part of my gap year I am volunteering here at Pax Lodge before going to university to study Early Childhood Studies. Being at Pax Lodge I have met people from all over the world and have created lifelong friendships.
