(Italy)
Operations Manager
Originally from a small village in Italy, I moved to London in search of new experiences, opportunities, and a city that never runs out of things to do. I started my career in Public Relations, spending four years managing brand communications and organizing events, before transitioning to reception, where I honed my skills in creating welcoming environments and keeping office operations running smoothly.
Then, I found Pax Lodge, and what began as a job quickly became a passion. Through WAGGGS, Iāve had the chance to connect with people from all over the world, building friendships that cross borders, languages, and time zones. Being part of a community that empowers girls and young women has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
When Iām not working, youāll find me exploring London, trying new restaurants, and convincing myself that adding another book to my collection is always a good idea.
Amir
(Iran)

I Joined WAGGGS on 02 Jan 2015 as Pax Lodge Deputy World Centre Manager and was Promoted to World Centre Manager on Feb 2022. Iām enjoying working at the World Centre and proud to be part of the guiding & scouting movement.
Iām an Iranian national, or some still called Persian. Born in Shiraz which used to be the capital of the Persian Empire.
I studied Travel & Tourism. Previously I worked in Kish Island and Dubai before I moved to the UK in 2011, most of my career itās with international chain hotels such as Marriott, Landmark, Accor, Golden Tulips, and Radisson.

Hi!
My name is Mariana. Iām originally from Colombia, but I moved to the UK when I was 16. I recently graduated with a degree in International Event Management and joined Pax Lodge this year (2025).
I have a strong background in events, with experience ranging from organising charity runs to coordinating conferences and banquets for up to 200 guests. Iām really excited to start this new chapter as part of the Front of House team here at Pax Lodge.
In my free time, I enjoy reading as well as re-watching the same series until I get tired of it! Iām also passionate about community service. Most recently, Iāve been volunteering with the Latinx community in London, which has helped me stay connected to my roots and brings warmth to my heart.

Puja

Guest Services Volunteer
Hey! I’m Puja!
I am a member of the Nepal Scouts and currently volunteering as Front of House at Pax Lodge.
Addy
(USA)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hello, my name is Addy, and I am from the United States of America.
I am thrilled to be volunteering at Pax Lodge this spring! I have volunteered at Our Chalet as a general volunteer, and I hope to one day be able to visit the Sangam, Nuestra Cabana, and Kusafiri as well.
I have been a Girl Scout from Daisies through Ambassadors, and now that I am an adult, I continue my scouting experience by working at a Girl Scout camp and visiting world centers. Girl Scouting has taught me about myself and given me opportunities to practice leadership. In my free time, I like being outside, whether that’s skiing, hiking, or swimming. I also like running cross country when I can, as well as simply running in general. I really enjoy traveling around the world, and I hope to be able to visit some other countries during my time here at Pax Lodge. I graduated from high school in 2025, and I am currently on a gap year before college. I love animals and nature, so when I go to college in the fall, I plan to study animal science/zoology in order to someday become a zookeeper.

Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hi, My name is Holly and I am a spring volunteer at Pax Lodge from March to June.
I am from Brisbane, Australia but originally from Christchurch, New Zealand. I have been an active member of guiding Australia since the age of 6 and haven’t stopped since!
I have previously come from the Our Chalet winter season working as a general volunteer from December to March, so I am keen to see what spring at Pax Lodge brings me. I look forward to trying new things in the UK and meeting lots of new people.
Melina
(Germany)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hello there!
My Name is MƩlina, I was born in Germany in 2007 and have been living there ever since.
I have different hobbies such as Scouting (obviously š ), reading, Taekwondo, meeting my friends, cooking and baking (at least when I want to try something new otherwise it’s just a task I rather enjoy doing).
I became a scout back in 2016 when a very good friend of mine stood in front of my door and invited me to come for one of the weekly meetings. Since that day, I have never regretted it once that I came with her.
In 2023, I went to the Jamboree in South Korea and enjoyed it a lot!
Zoe
(Switzerland)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hii! My name is ZoĆ© or call me Farfalla, that’s my scout name at home.
I’m a Pax Lodge Volunteer from Switzerland. I’ll be staying here for the Spring Season (so February to May). This is my first time in Pax Lodge and volunteering at a World Centre, although I’ve already stayed at Chalet for holidays. I’ve been a Scout since I was in 2nd Grade, that’s already 11 years (!). Two years ago I started leading cubs (7-10 years old) in my Unit. I’m hoping that at Pax Lodge I make friends from all around the world and exchange traditions that we can incorporate in our Units at home.
My favorite part of scouting is that everyone can be involved no matter age, heritage, size or money. Children can be themselves without the constant pressure to perform.
Rica
(Japan)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Konnichiwa (Hello in Japanese)! My name is Rica.
Iām a Pax Lodge volunteer from Japan. Iāll be here for about two months from April to June. Iāve been scouting for over 23 years now, since I was five. It is my third World Center to volunteer at: Sangam, Our Chalet, and Pax Lodge.
Visiting all of the World Center is one of my dreams! Iām currently a leader for the Ranger Scouts (15-17 years old) in Japan. I love being a part of this Girl Guides and Girl Scouts movement because itās really international, empowering, and inclusive! Iām so excited to be here at Pax Lodge as a volunteer and start the new journey that leads me to earn new experiences and perspectives with new friends/sisters:)
