LEADERSHIP PROGRAMMES SUPPORT

Essential Criteria
- A degree in Youth Development, Education, Social Work, Project Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in coordinating programmes, events, or working with and for youth
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Canva and relevant online tools
- Actives member of World Association of Girl Guides an Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)
- Must be part of the WAGGGS Volunteer Resources Pool
- Willingness to live and work on-site in a shared, team-based environment
- All application must be endorsed by Member Organisation
Desirable Criteria
- Have participated in a WAGGGS or other international programme such as Volunteering at World Centres, WAGGGS Exchange Programme, MO Exchange Programme
- Patient, good team player, and have the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and communities
- Experience in writing proposals for funding
- Good oral and written English skills (English is the working language of Sangam)
- Practical, open minded, hard-working, and able to use common sense
- Capable of taking responsibility to deliver work to the highest standard
What does the Leadership Programme Support do?
LEADERSHIP VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
- Recruit, train and mentor leadership programmes volunteers, including Sangam volunteers and community programme volunteers.
- Evaluate the impact of each programme and implement improvements based on feedback and needs.
- Prepare regular reports in various formats on the achievements and impact of the leadership programmes
YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
- Design, coordinate, and evaluate youth leadership development events, workshops and related activities for international and local targets
- Contribute to the rollout of various WAGGGS Global Programmes and initiatives for Sangam’s community partners
- Identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals for funding applications
OPERATIONS
- Support the day-to-day running of the Programme team work
- Writing articles and reports when required
- Contribute to Sangam special events such as International Days celebration, Living at Sangam social evenings and Mind Mantra.
When and for how long is this placement?
- Type of role: Voluntary position
- Placement duration: 12 months
- Location: Sangam World Centre, Pune, India (live-in role)
- Placement dates: From 1st August 2025 to 31st July 2026

- Monthly Stipend of 10,000 INR (Indian Rupees)
