Huduma kwa Utamaduni is a Swahili phrase meaning – supporting others with kindness while celebrating cultural diversity.
Participants are encouraged to fundraise towards the costs of taking part in this experience and encouraged to fundraise additional donations for Kusafiri. Part of your event fee is contributing to the cost of projects that you will be undertaking at the Centre.

What to Expect?
This programme offers a unique opportunity to make a difference through hands-on work and to immerse yourself in Ghanaian and African culture.
- Service activities – Kusafiri is WAGGGS’ newest World Centre and participants will engage in projects to develop, maintain and beautify the site ready to give future guests the best experience possible. This will involve collaborating in teams to plan and execute tasks. Specific tasks will vary depending on weather and current priorities around the site.
- Cultural activities – participants will explore Ghanaian culture through drumming, dancing, and visiting local landmarks. Evenings will feature team-building games, reflection sessions, and social activities, ending in a festive celebration and pinning ceremony to honour achievements.
Who is this event for?
This programme is ideal for individuals aged 18 and above who are passionate about contributing to a cause, eager to develop leadership skills, and excited for cultural activities. Come with your creativity and your passion to create change.
