Who is this event for?
The Mini Adventure event is open to all Guides and Scouts aged 12-18, along with a limited number of adult leaders.
What activities are involved?
Mini Adventure offers a taste of the full Adventure programme. Over one full day and two half days you’ll take part in the following:
- A challenging hike to an alpine lake
- Ride a summer toboggan/rodelbahn
- A series of survival themed activities and challenges onsite at Our Chalet
- Campfire evening programme
- Swiss themed evening programme
Throughout the weekend you’ll also learn about the WAGGGS leadership mindsets and have a chance to complete a Brilliance Beads leadership bracelet and the Our Chalet Summer Challenge badge.
How does all that fit into a 2 night stay?
Our new Mini Summer Youth Events (Mini Discover, Mini Explore, and Mini Adventure) pack a lot of programme into a short time! Activities start at 14:00 (2pm) on your arrival day and finish at 13:00 (1pm) on your departure day. We strongly recommend arriving by 12:30 on your arrival day to give you time to check in and eat picnic lunch before your programme starts.
