Who is this event for?
The Day of the Dead event is open to all Guides and Scouts of all ages, along with their leaders or families.
What activities are involved?
From 31 October to 2 November, the streets are filled with colourful ofrendas (altars), marigolds and flickering candles to celebrate the return to Earth of deceased family members and loved ones. This special holiday is recognised by the United Nations for its cultural significance.
Participate in captivating traditions, embracing death as a natural part of life, and create a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter, music and delicious culinary delights, and connect with the local community through meaningful community action activity.
