Join us at the Kusafiri World Centre for the climax of the United for Sustainable Development Goals (U4SDGs) project, a global initiative focused on SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Join a team of passionate global volunteers to engage in maintenance and creative projects that will prepare Kusafiri for the upcoming season! You will also have the opportunity to explore Ghana’s rich culture, build connections with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world, and develop your leadership skills. This is your opportunity to contribute to Kusafiri’s history as the World Centre develops and prepares to host guests from around the world in 2025 and 2026.

Come to Ghana and experience Kusafiri and explore Shai Hills, one of Ghana’s numerous beautiful nature reserves, located just a few hours away from the capital Accra. 

Two nights ( arrival night and full day prepping and briefing day) will be spent at Kusafiri, followed by travel to Shai the next day for a 3-day adventure. During the trip, you will be surrounded by nature, spending your days walking around the reserve and camping there at night. This is an exciting opportunity for you to discover more of Ghana while challenging yourself and reconnecting with the environment. Participants will then return to Kusafiri for 2 nights including the Closing and Pinning Ceremony.

Huduma kwa Utamaduni, is a dynamic short-term volunteer opportunity to support Kusafiri World Centre, while immersing yourself in the cultural diversity of the Africa Region!

Experience the rich culture of Accra and join the Ga community for the Homowo festival, a celebration of heritage and tradition. Explore the bustling markets of Makola, the Arts and Crafts Markets, learn traditional crafts, and take part in cultural activities. Spend 3 days in the Gamashie area attending the twin festival, visiting historical landmarks in Accra and enjoying the Chalewote street carnival. 2 days will be spent at Kusafiri, participating in cultural and leadership activities.  You will stay at Kusafiri during this experience.
