In Cuernavaca most of the year we have a temperate climate, between 19 and 32 degrees Celsius (66-89 degrees Fehrenheit). In the rainy season (June to September) it rains in the evenings and there are few occasions when it rains all day. It depends on the time of year you visit, but in Cuernavaca, it's always important to have sunscreen, a swimsuit, lightweight clothing, a light sweater or jacket, mosquito repellent, water sandals, walking shoes, etc.
To reach Cuernavaca, Morelos, you can access it by road via Mexico City. There is also transportation from the International Airport (AICM), where buses depart and arrive at the Casino de la Selva station in Cuernavaca, which is a 15-minute taxi ride from Nuestra Cabaña. Additionally, Nuestra Cabaña provides support to organize your transfers.
The Friends of Nuestra Cabaña is an international group actively promoting and supporting Nuestra Cabaña. We enable Girl Scouts and Girl Guides to discover and enjoy self-development, learning, and adventure at Nuestra Cabaña. You can fill in the form below, and they will contact you.
Nuestra Cabaña is wheelchair accessible, we recommend that guests with reduced mobility contact us to discuss their needs prior to making a reservation, by emailing nuestracabana@wagggs.org.

Nuestra Cabaña has a small store, primarily offering souvenirs related to our association, such as patches, pins, t-shirts, etc. With our reopening, we will strive to keep it well-stocked to meet the needs of our visitors. We accept cash, whether in US dollars or Mexican pesos. We may also be able to accept credit cards, but for added certainty, please feel free to send any questions before your trip for more accurate responses.
We have the great advantage that Nuestra Cabaña is located in a convenient area, steps away from pharmacies and convenience stores, as well as supermarkets that offer delivery, so everything you need will be easily accessible.
Nuestra Cabaña's kitchen facilities are operated by volunteers and staff and all dietary requirements are catered for the to the best of the Centre's ability. We cannot guarantee food to be 100% free of any specific allergen. Guests with food allergies eat Nuestra Cabaña meals at their own risk. Guests must notify Nuestra Cabaña of all dietary requirements at least one month in advance of their visit, or at the time of booking meals, whichever is earliest. Notification later than this may mean Nuestra Cabaña is not able to cater for the required special diet. In some cases special diet meals may be offered only at an additional cost. Guests with severe and/or contact allergies must note this on their Personal Details Form and be aware that we cannot quarantee that other guests will not bring allergens on to the Nuestra Cabaña site.
- Current regulations do NOT require foreigners to have any vaccinations. However, it is recommended that if you are travelling in rural areas within Mexico that you discuss with your doctor whether they advise you to be vaccinated against tetanus, diphtheria, and typhoid fever.
WiFi is available in our common areas and is free.
If you are booked on to an event you will receive a packing list specific to your event.
Yes, we have laundry facilities, and each visitor can do their laundry at a very low cost.
