Vi
(Italy)
Operations Manager
Originally from a small village in Italy, I moved to London in search of new experiences, opportunities, and a city that never runs out of things to do. I started my career in Public Relations, spending four years managing brand communications and organizing events, before transitioning to reception, where I honed my skills in creating welcoming environments and keeping office operations running smoothly.
Then, I found Pax Lodge, and what began as a job quickly became a passion. Through WAGGGS, I’ve had the chance to connect with people from all over the world, building friendships that cross borders, languages, and time zones. Being part of a community that empowers girls and young women has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring London, trying new restaurants, and convincing myself that adding another book to my collection is always a good idea.

Liliana
(Colombia)
Guest Services Volunteer
Hello everyone!
I’m Liliana, a proud Girl Scout from Colombia, and I’m delighted to be here at Pax Lodge as part of the front desk team. Being part of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts has given me amazing opportunities to travel, learn new skills, improve my second language, and build lifelong friendships.
I’ve had the privilege of visiting three World Centers: Sangam in 2017, Our Chalet in 2019, and Pax Lodge in 2022 and 2025.
Professionally, I work as a set decorator in the film and television industry. I truly believe that we live in a time where we can learn so much and shape the life we want. Every experience, challenge, and opportunity is a chance to grow, and I’m looking forward to continuing to learn along the way.

Claudia
(New Zealand)
Front of House Coordinator
Kia ora! My name is Claudia, and I am a Pax Lodge staff member from New Zealand. I was born and raised in Auckland (New Zealand’s biggest city) and spent most of my life within the same five kilometres, so in 2024 I moved to the other side of the world to spice things up!
I started at Pax Lodge as a volunteer, then became a Front of House Coordinator here in August 2024. I feel very lucky to get to stay connected with the Pax Lodge family while learning new skills and continuing to meet Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from all over the world.
I am a proud member of both Girlguiding New Zealand and Girlguiding UK. I joined Girlguiding NZ at age 10; after Guides (age range 9-12), I joined Rangers (ages 12-17) and earned my Queen’s Guide Award in 2016. When I became a staff member at Pax Lodge, I also took over the Pax Lodge Ranger unit and joined Girlguiding UK. My favourite thing about guiding is the opportunities available to have fun and make new friends. I look forward to meeting you at Pax Lodge!

VOLUNTEERS
Jasmin
(South Africa)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hi, I’m Jasmin Rajaram , I am 19 years old and I am from a small town in sunny South Africa. I have been in Guiding since I was 11 years old and now at 25 I am a young leader and working towards getting my Adult Leader Qualifications. I also recently just received an award for 5 years service as an adult leader in my country. I have achieved a lot in Guiding in my country and for WAGGGS. I was on the U-Report design team, and have worked to create many polls for everyone. In my country I have also been held the communications post in my region and currently I hold the International post.
This is my second time as a Pax Lodge volunteer, I was a volunteer in 2019 as well. I got my degree in Marketing and I am now back as the Marketing and Communications intern. Being a part of the Pax Lodge family is like having a second family away from home.
Andrea
(Mexico)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m from Monterrey, Mexico. I hold a degree in International Relations and graduated in December 2024. I’ve been a proud member of the Girl Guides for over seven years, and it has played such a meaningful role in my life. Back home, I’m a Brownie (Haditas) leader, and I’ve been leading my group for more than three years—an experience that’s brought me so much joy and learning.
This is actually my second time volunteering at Pax Lodge, and I couldn’t be happier to be back! It’s such a special place, and seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones makes it feel like home. My first volunteer experience here was in July 2022, and I also had the chance to volunteer at Nuestra Cabaña for World Thinking Day in 2023. Both were unforgettable opportunities that deepened my love for traveling and making new friendships from around the world.
I enjoy singing, traveling, and creating meaningful experiences—especially when shared with friends and family. I’m truly excited for everything this new chapter at Pax Lodge will bring. I look forward to growing, learning, and making the most of every moment during my time here.
Namrah
(Pakistan)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
Hi, I’m Namrah, a Girl Guide from Punjab. I officially joined as a Senior Guide, but Guiding has always felt familiar to me. Watching my sister in her uniform inspired me from a young age. Now, I mentor younger members and serve as Chair of Young Leaders in PGGA. I’ve also been Head Girl and Current Affairs President on my college council
Pax Lodge marks my first adventure as a volunteer at a World Centre, a journey that began after visiting Kusafiri as an SDG Ambassador. That experience opened my eyes to new possibilities. Guiding is now woven into the fabric of my life. I have eagerly taken part in a range of national and international initiatives, from JLS and Lead for Her Future Now to campaigns on child labour, education advocacy, climate action, clean-up drives, tree planting, and youth workshops. Each experience has fueled my passion and sharpened my leadership and advocacy skills.
Academically, I have a background in English Language and Literature as well as Biology. This combination reflects my love for both the sciences and humanities, shaping me into a balanced learner. My stay at Pax Lodge is helping me connect with people from diverse cultures, broaden my horizons, and grow as a youth leader who values empathy, advocacy, and global friendship.

Damin
(Korea)
Pax Lodge Volunteer
I have been involved in Girl Scouting for 13 years, actively participating as a staff member in various events since becoming a Young Leader. This includes the Girl Scouts International Camp in Korea, where I led programs, ran booths, and facilitated activities that connected Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world.
I also co-hosted the Brave Space during the e-International Camp, Korea, which further sparked my interest in event coordination. It’s exciting to be part of a time when Girl Guiding and Scouting continue to expand both online and offline. Currently, I am a Young Leader based in Seoul, South Korea.
I studied visual arts, and I focus on animation film production, comic (cartoon & webtoon) creation, and illustration drawing as my profession. I have a deep interest in cultural media, particularly in art, film, and literature.
On February 27th, I started volunteering at Pax Lodge. Connecting with people from different backgrounds and working at a World Centre has been a truly rewarding experience. Engaging with diverse cultures through programs and exchange activities is something I particularly enjoy. Visiting other World Centres in the future is definitely on my list!
